If you are a contractor seeking permission to work in the City's Right of Way (ROW) near street lights, you must request a locate to check for utility lines in the sidewalk or nearby grass.

If requesting a streetlight locate:
•Contact ATL311 at 404.546.0311 between 7 am and 7 pm Monday through Friday or
•Submit an online service request via the Create Request button

Once the request is received, a City inspector will be dispatched to complete the request.
• This is usually done within 24 hours.

Once the request is completed, a notification to proceed will be sent via email. The locate must be completed before work in the city's right of way will be authorized.
