The City of Atlanta Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Services (SWS), will pick up any unwanted EMPTY city-issued garbage cart or recycling cart.

To submit a request for an empty garbage cart or recycling cart pick-up:

• Create request below

• Call ATL311 at 404-546-0311

Once submitted, the cart will be picked up within 10 business days.

Please leave your empty cart(s) upside down and curbside for replacement.
